Advance Realty in Hoboken recently cut the ribbon for the grand opening of the Harlow Building, one of the more luxurious buildings in the city. It contains all the amenities anyone could ask for. In addition, thanks to Engineered Security Systems (ESS), it is also one of the more technologically sound buildings in Hoboken, with a wide range of features designed to keep residents safe from natural disasters or intruders. ESS also put several additional features into place for the convenience and pleasure of the residents of the building’s 140 units.
ESS started with a fire monitoring system for the building, which is connected to its command center.
The company also hosts control of access to the building, which is integrated to the elevators for individual floor access. In addition, ESS installed video intercoms for building access for guests without key fobs. Elevator phone monitoring is also included.
Finally, ESS installed an IP security video system for the building.
Besides addressing safety and security issues, ESS also installed a variety of systems designed for the convenience and enjoyment of the residents. These features include:
· Musak in common spaces and gathering areas;
· TV monitors throughout complex for business information, including one on each floor, one in the fitness room, and one in the child care room;
· A 55-inch outdoor television by the pool; and
· Closed circuit television for the entire building.
At ESS, we have worked on many projects of this magnitude, and are ready to help you with your multi-unit building as well. Reach out to our president, David George, at email@example.com 1-800-742-1263.
