ESS Designs Security For Jersey City Medical

Located directly across from the State of Liberty, Jersey City Medical is faced with a unique security need. All medical staff and patients have to do is look out their windows to be reminded of the 9/11 attacks. Safety and security was of particular importance for Jersey City Medical; in order to ensure a secure environment, they required a state-of-the-art security system that would make both patients and staff feel safe. According to Tim Woodward, corporate director of safety and security for Liberty Health, ESS was awarded the security contract due to the fact that they are the best local security contractor capable to successfully undertake and manage the overall project. The project was completed on time in February 2004, and the hospital officially opened May 16, 2004.
